If you have have internet Download manager then its good it not Download it from Here. In this post we are going to increase the speed of the Download Manage by altering the speed of the Internet Download Manager.
STEP 1
Launch the Download Manager Head over to Download===>>Speed Limiter===>Turn off
STEP 2
Go to Download===>>>Speed Limiter===>> Settings and set the limit less than your connection speed i would be better to set between 1000 KB to 10000 KB.
STEP 3
Now again Head over to Download===>>Option and under option tab===Connection===High speed Connection and set it OK.
STEP 4
Now again Head over to Download===>>Option and under option tab===Connection and set the default max connection between 8 to 16.
Apart from optimizing setting of the Internet Download Manager to boost your downloading speed you can stop or cancel other ongoing downloads , download one thing at a time so that IDM can utilize maximum sped of the Internet connection.
While Downloading Close down the application which is consuming maximum amount of the RAM , you can check this by going to the task manager of the windows by Pressing CTRL+ALT+Delect.
If you do not want to do above procedure then simply download IDM optimizer from media fire and run it , before running IDM Optimizer make sure you have installed Internet Download Manager.
IDM optimizer will do job for you and you will see difference in the downloading speed if not anytime you restore IDM optimizer to the default settings.
